Youth Ministry

We are fortunate to have a youth group that is active and focuses on Godliness and service within the church. Many of our youth actively participate in the Sunday morning service thru readings and music.

Adult Youth Leaders work with the teens on music; some of our young musicians play: piano, trumpet, violin, guitar, tuba and clarinet to name a few. They also serve in other functions with Children’s Church and Children’s activities.

Youth Focus:

It is our focus to work with parents to develop Godly youth that want to live Godly lives and serve in their local church. Our weekly Sunday School focuses on equipping youth with the tools they need to live lives pleasing to the LORD in a very secular world. Teens are encouraged to bring friends to all activities, where the gospel is openly shared. The 7-12 grade youth group has a youth group activity monthly which includes fun, food and the gospel.

Youth Curriculum:

Studies on different topics are determined and prepared for prior to class. Some of our recent and upcoming curricula include: “Bible Basic Training,” which compared the Christian life to enlistment in the military and a course on relationships. Classes are taught by our youth leaders who have many years of teaching experience and teach in an interactive way with the youth.

Youth Vision:

#1 We need to ensure that all youth are saved.
#2 We need to instill in each youth the necessity to have a personal relationship with the LORD; this includes reading the WORD.
#3 We must encourage the youth to grow in the LORD.
#4 We must provide teaching and mentorship to each youth.
#5 We must reach out to other youth in the community.
